At NALAG (National Association for Loss and Grief (NSW) Inc), we believe no one should face loss, grief or change alone. Through grief support,  counselling, education, training and community programs, we support people experiencing grief and loss across Australia.
We're seeking an experienced Senior Office Administrator based in Dubbo, to oversee our administration, governance, compliance, human resources and organisational systems, ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of our organisation.

About the Role
Reporting to the NALAG CEO, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation by providing high-level administrative, governance and operational support at our Head Office in Dubbo.
This diverse role includes administration, executive support, HR, governance, compliance, quality systems, WHS, report writing, training and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Executive Support
- Office administration, reception and executive support
- Coordinate meetings, calendars and organisational documentation
- Welcome clients, visitors and stakeholders in a professional, compassionate manner
Human Resources
- Maintain HR records and systems
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and mandatory training
Governance, Compliance & Quality
- Maintain policies, compliance and quality systems
- Support accreditation, audits and Board administration
Work Health & Safety
- Coordinate WHS systems, inspections and compliance
Reporting, Training & Events
- Prepare organisational reports and maintain databases
- Coordinate training programs, workshops and organisational events
About You
You'll be an organised and proactive professional with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You'll enjoy improving systems, maintaining high standards and working collaboratively within a values-driven organisation.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum five years' experience in administration, office management or business support, with qualifications in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Experience in governance, compliance, quality systems or organisational administration.
- Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication and time management skills.
- High-level Microsoft Office skills and experience using business management systems (Zanda experience desirable).
- A professional, confidential and compassionate approach, with the right to work in Australia.
Highly Regarded
Experience in:
- Not-for-profit, community services or health sectors.
- Accreditation or quality improvement frameworks.
- BrightHR or similar HR systems.
- Board governance and compliance.
- Work Health & Safety coordination.
