Advanced Sandplay Therapy - Dubbo
Time: 9.30am-4.30pm
When: 29th November. 2024
Where: Online (via Zoom)
Cost: $300 (including GST) for NALAG members, $350 for non NALAG members
About the Workshop
Sandplay Therapy uses symbols from daily life to create a picture in a sandtray. The Sandplay facilitator holds the process as a respectful witness until the picture is complete, and then leads a tentative exploration as to client interpretation and meaning.
The Advanced Sandplay Therapy Workshop will build on the skills and theory gained in the Introduction to Sandplay Therapy Workshop. Sandplay Therapy provides a Window into the Unconscious and works at a deeply intuitive level. Unconscious and psychic processes are revealed in a similar way to dreams, leading to integration, transformation, and emotional healing. Whilst focusing on the power of the sand, the symbol, and the shadow, participants have the opportunity to experience, facilitate, and witness Sandplay Therapy in practice.
Sandplay Therapy is an invaluable addition to your therapeutic toolbag, both for use with adults and children.
This workshop is suitable for counsellors who have completed the Introduction to Sandplay Workshop, or are using Sandplay Therapy in their workplace and are keen to deepen their knowledge of symbology in the tray.
